United’s four game tour of Asia has already been disrupted due a terrorist attack on the Ritz-Carlton hotel.

This was the hotel United were supposed to be staying in for four nights from Saturday around Monday’s game against the Indonesia Super League XI.

Following advice from the Foreign Office, United have decided that in the interests of players’ safety, there was no alternative but to cancel the match.

This will come as a massive disappointment for United fans and players – not least the 100,000 who were going to make the match a complete sell-out.

At least nine people have been killed in the blast.
