The Red Devil (the person) is erm, me! I live in Manchester and have done for most of my life. I have supported Manchester United since I was around four years old although I must admit, it was their nickname, “The Red Devils” which attracted my attention in those days.

I live around 15 minutes away from Old Trafford and go to see them as often as I can but work and family commitments mean that I don’t get to see them “live” anywhere near as often as I would like.

The Red Devil (the website) is a site I have been running under various guises for around five years now (you can view the old site here). It has largely been my previews of Manchester United matches, betting predictions and post-match reviews.

It was interesting for a while but I always wanted to make the site more interactive and so, from the 2009/10 season, I have turned the site into a Blog format so that YOU can comment.

I also wanted to bring in comment on wider issues concerning football generally and found the rigid format of previous incarnations of the site limiting in this respect.
