Yes, us Manchester United fans have certainly been spoiled over the last 18 years or so. We tend to forget that things could be a whole lot worse than they are. As it stands, we are in contention for everything this season except the FA Cup. I haven't given up hope of some kind of silverware this season but at the moment, it is advantage Chelsea in the League, advantage Manchester City in the Carling Cup and you have to expect Barcelona to put up a strong defence in the CL. A PL/CL double next season would certainly compensate should we fail to deliver this season, however! :) Hi Tommy, thanks for your comment.

Yes, us Manchester United fans have certainly been spoiled over the last 18 years or so.

We tend to forget that things could be a whole lot worse than they are.

As it stands, we are in contention for everything this season except the FA Cup.

I haven’t given up hope of some kind of silverware this season but at the moment, it is advantage Chelsea in the League, advantage Manchester City in the Carling Cup and you have to expect Barcelona to put up a strong defence in the CL.

A PL/CL double next season would certainly compensate should we fail to deliver this season, however! :)

I hope Diouf can rise to the top, but ultimately, I won't mind if we don't win silverware this season. After 3 successive titles, it's almost as if many fans have forgotten to appreciate victory rather than just demanding it. A barren season might give people a sense of perspective, and make the next trophies all the sweeter.
